This one day workshop will provide a hands on introduction to the encaustic medium.  Participants will learn basic application and a variety of techniques such as transfers, carving and surface texture. There will be independent work time so students will have a chance to experiment with tools and get a true feel for the wax.  All levels are encouraged.  This class is also open to previous attendees to use as a chance to further explore while using provided tools.
